Black & White

"The LORD your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, He will quiet you with his love, He will rejoice over you with singing."

Zephaniah 3:17

So as I have been going on my weekly Saturday date nights with God at Northridge, I have found a new sense of peace in the mist of the chaos.

These past couple of weeks, there has been a new series called Black & White. (<= Click on the link if you have time and listen to the sermons; its soo good)

The question this series ask us is, What matters to you?

I guess this question has become extremely important to me these days with all that has been going on. Taking 18+ credits, the LSATs, Work, Working Out, Church, Small group, and etc... doesn't really leave time to focus on me; but oddly enough God has even me time to focus on our relationship. The great thing is that I can say is that God matters to me. Its like there is always some time for me to just spend one on one time with God, which is why I'm still pushing through today. I admit I don't have much time for the world. I struggle keeping in touch with the world and everyone, because I just don't have that extra sense of time. I honestly thought that this year was going to be hard because everyone has moved on with their lives and I'm still just here. Little did I know that God would make this one of the best years I have spent in Michigan, and even though there is so much more to go I have a feeling that He has planned this year to end with a blast. Its like he's letting me finish everything off with a BANG! Even though I know that my life is crazy, I'm happy. For the first time in 5 years I don't feel tired. I know things will get hard but I also know that God will be with me.
